Terms and Conditions


Legal Age Restriction

We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. By placing an order you confirm that you and the recipient are at least 18 years old and we reserve the right not to deliver if we are unsure of this and if appropriate proof can not be provided.


Products on this website are displayed and described as accurately as possible, with information provided by our producers and suppliers. 
Vintage years of wines and spirits as shown in product photographs are for display purposes only. Vintages are not usually stated in the product description as we will supply the current available vintage.


During the suspension of internet service, due to Coronavirus pandemic, the prices shown are our shop prices. 

Prices on this website may differ from those charged in our stores. This is due to the different costs involved in operating a shop and a website. We will not be obliged to supply any items in our stores at the website price or vice-versa.

All prices are inclusive of UK VAT.

Promotional offers and prices are as stated, with no further discounts available.

Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on this website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mis-priced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.

We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, goods and specifications of goods at our discretion at any time before (but not after) we accept your order. Where an end date is specified on any offer on the website, it is intended as a guide only. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.


The placing of an order anywhere on our website does not constitute a contract, which is made only when we accept your order and process payment.
We reserve the right not to accept any order.

All goods are offered subject to availability.

Minimum Order

There is no minimum order although it is more economical to order a minimum of 6 standard bottles or their equivalent (4.5litres) of wines and/or spirits, or any mix thereof, and 12 x 500ml bottles or their equivalent (6 litres) of ales.


We cannot guarantee availability of all products at all times. In the event that a product is unavailable when you place your order, we shall provide a similar product of the same or higher value at no extra cost. If there is no suitable alternative we shall contact you to arrange replacement, or another acceptable arrangement for the completion of your order.

Vintages: We cannot guarantee the availability of specific vintages. Where specific vintages are stated in the product description we will contact you if they become exhausted.


Payment can be made by using any of the following cards: Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, and Maestro/Switch.
You must give us authority for payment at the time of order.

All card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. We will not deliver any Products prior to these checks and authorisations being completed. If your card issuer refuses to authorise payment to us, we cannot accept your order, and will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

Payment by BACS/CHAPS transfer is available for special orders. Details are available upon request.


We only deliver to addresses in mainland UK, Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Northern Ireland.
We do not deliver to the Republic of Ireland or the Channel Islands or internationally.
We normally offer delivery within 7 days of receipt of your order.

Your goods will be packaged securely using re-cycled packaging.

All deliveries must be signed for by a person over 18 years of age.

If nobody is available at the delivery address a card will be left, the recipient needs to re-arrange delivery within 72 hours in response to the card.
If the courier is again unable to deliver, and the recipient does not call the courier within 72 hours of the second delivery attempt, the goods will be returned to us and you will be charged the cost of doing so. If you no longer require your order, we will refund the cost of the products only less any delivery charges for return.

If you want us to re-send your order, you will need to re-order through the website.

In the event of non-delivery by our courier, or if the order is lost or stolen prior to receipt being confirmed by signature we will replace it.


You may cancel your order at any time until 14 days after the goods are received.

Orders cancelled prior to despatch from our warehouse will be refunded in full including all product and delivery charges.

Orders cancelled after goods have been despatched from our warehouse will be refunded for the cost of the products only; you will be liable for the initial delivery charges and be responsible for returning the products to us at your own cost. You will be refunded as soon as the goods arrive back at our warehouse unopened and undamaged.

To cancel your order please e-mail us at stating your order number and other details as may be required.

Breakages and Shortages

Your order is carefully packaged and checked for accuracy prior to despatch. However, you should ensure that the goods you are signing for have arrived undamaged and complete. Carefully open the package and inspect all goods at the time of delivery or collection. Any breakage or shortage must be noted on the delivery documentation or terminal at that time.

We will not accept any claims for breakages or shortages unless they are stated on the delivery documentation or terminal.

You must advise us of any claim for breakages or shortages by e-mail at as soon as possible after receipt of your goods and before the end of the following working day after receipt.

We will provide a full refund (or replacement with your next order) for verified breakages or shortages.

Faulty Products

We must be notified of faulty products within 7 days of receipt, please e-mail us at stating your order number and the nature of the fault giving as much detail as is required.

After 7 days you will be deemed to have accepted the goods and no returns will be accepted thereafter.

We will provide a full refund (or replacement with your next order) for any wines that are faulty. Do not dispose of the faulty product as we may require it to be returned to us. We will advise you within 7 days if this required and we will arrange this as necessary.


In the event of complaint please e-mail us at or write to us at 18 Broad Street, Bungay, Suffolk NR35 1EE, stating the nature of your complaint with your order number and as much detail as is required. All complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours of receipt and you can expect a full resolution of your complaint within a further 72 hours. You will be kept informed if there is any delay beyond this. Each complaint will be treated as confidential and will be attended to by a senior manager or director.

Special Orders

If your order requires us to order in larger quantities of products than we would normally hold, we will deem this to be a special order and will advise you accordingly by e-mail.

In the event that any special order is cancelled after payment and products have already been ordered into our warehouse to fulfil the order, the order will be liable to a restocking fee of 25% of the value of the products ordered.

Governing Law

Your use of this website and any purchase by you on this website will be governed by English Law and will be deemed to have occurred in the United Kingdom.

Statutory Rights

Users of this website may post reviews, comments and other content. This right is extended on condition that the content is not illegal, obscene, abusive, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights, or otherwise injurious to third parties, or objectionable. Specifically, content should not include software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters or mass mailings.

You may not use a false email address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of any content.

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to remove or edit any content.

If you post content or submit material, unless indicated otherwise you:
