Tasting Notes: A wine expressing the style of St Emilion ...but not the price. A warming, very classy Claret nose leads on to a ripe, rounded, lush flavoursome Merlot palate. Smooth flavours linger in the mouth in the surprisingly long finish for a wine at this level.

Producer Details: Boutinot have formed partnerships with leading Bordeaux producer Ginestet to offer high quality wines from Château in top appellations. Lying at 45 degrees latitude, Bordeaux is considered relatively northerly and this estate enjoys ripening hours during the summer and the strong influences of the moderating maritime cimate.

In The Vineyard: Lussac is a village to the North West of Saint Emilion, granted appellation status in 1936. Predominately
Merlot vines averaging 25 years of age grow on gravelly / clay soil.

In The Winery: Grapes are carefully harvested before being destemmed and crushed and transfered to temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Fermentation last around 10-15 days, with 7 days maceration.

Quality Bordeaux

This Bordeax is worth every penny I have not had such enjoyment from a bottle of wine in ages it's every penny and more one would expect from a quality bordeax and for the price it's a steal.
