Tasting Note: Wonderfully crisp Chenin Blanc. A fresh, dry Chenin displaying intense floral and zippy citrus aromas. Succulent tropical fruit shows on the palate but it is well balanced by crisp acidity.

Producer Details: The Coastal region of South Africa is renowned for its fine and expressive fruit, resulting in wines with depth and complexity. Thanks to longstanding relationships, the producers keep ahead of the competition when it comes to securing the best parcels of fruit. The unique adaptability and versatility of their South African range, matched with a wide range of foods or simply on their own by the glass, has been key to their success. They have been their most successful new world wines for over a decade and continue to offer fantastic quality at a price with which few can compete.

In The Vineyard: Vines are mostly old bush vines (average age between 20-30 years), planted at a density of approx 3700/ha. Soils are deep red Paardeberg soil. No irrigation is used on the vineyards and very little crop control is needed due to the age of the vines naturally restricting yield. All grapes are harvested by hand.

In The Winery: Produced from only free run juice and fermented on skins in stainless stell tanks. The wine is left on fine lees for an extended period for greater palate weight and mouthfeel.
