Tasting Notes: A strawberries and cream Rose that works perfectly as an easy drinking aperitif. A deep pink rosé with a soft plump texture, good depth and length. The wine has intense strawberry aromas, which are reflected in the palate along with a real creaminess, for the perfect summers day aperitif. A hint of cranberry lifts the finish.

Producer Details: Boutinot's love affair with the southern Rhône is both enduring and unswerving. They believe to their marrow that they can make great wine there. And for this reason, they have bought their first vineyard in France, in the southern Rhône – in the village of Cairanne, you’ll not be surprised to learn! Ten years ago they first glimpsed the potential of the vineyards of Cairanne when they released their 2000 vintage of La Côte Sauvage. Now they have several plots of old vines they can call their own and have begun to realise their dream of making even better wine.
Over the past decade or so they have built enviable relationships with a network of local growers and they will continue to source grapes and wine from their trove of prized vineyards for our full range of Rhône wines.

In The Vineyard: Paul Boutinot's philosophy is to make wines that are a true expression of their varietal character and perfect partners to food. Scouring France with his team of winemakers - Samantha Bailey and Eric Monnin, Paul aims to select the best vineyards, or sometimes just parcels of wine, to deliver just that. He is meticulous about the blends, tasting and retasting until he is completely satisfied that the wine offers the highest quality and value.

In The Winery: Each varietal is vinified seperately at low temperature using the rosé de press method to obtain a minimum of colour and maximum of fruit flavour.
