Tasting Notes: A charming white Bordeaux from unique Left Bank terroir. With a delicate, aromatic nose, this wine is herbaceous with ripe weighty fruit on the palate. It has a good linear structure with a gentle complexity and freshness on the finish. A wine to lay down - the high proportion of Semillion will benefit from further bottle ageing.

Producer Details: Xavier and Caroline Perromat took over Château de Cérons in 2012 along with Châteaux Calvimont and du Mayne. Château Calvimont comes from specific plots which have always belonged to the Cérons estate; the Marquis de Calvimont was the owner in the late 18th century. Château du Mayne is a 4 hectare Graves domaine which has always been in the family. The couple inherited Xavier’s parents' estate and began to put their own stamp on the vines and wines. Viticulture is sustainable and winemaking is precise, producing Graves wines with a fine minerality and balance. .

In The Vineyard: The vineyards are on a plateau of gravel over limestone overlooking the river Garonne, perfect terroir for Sémillon. Grapes were hand harvested in late September

In The Winery: Whole bunch pressed and fermented in stainless steel with 4-6 weeks of lees stirring. No oak.
