Tasting Notes: LodeStar Festival Ale is a 3.8% golden refreshing ale. Therefore the perfect partner to a summer festival! It is made from four malts to give full body and with four additions of English hops it has a lovely aroma and gentle hop bitterness.

Producer Details: Calvors Brewery was established in early 2008 by Alec Williamson. The idea was to create real English lagers, brewed in the heart of Suffolk. The brewery is located on the family farm in rural Suffolk that was originally called ‘Calvers’ and is where ‘Calvors’ gets its name. Calvors aim is to create natural lagers as they should be.
Calvors is brewed using only the finest ingredients including locally grown and malted barley and whole hops making outstanding natural lagers with totally original flavours.
The beer is brewed using traditional methods in a specially converted section of an old agricultural building. It is fermented with fine bottom fermenting yeast and then “lagered” (stored and conditioned) for a minimum of four weeks before being triple cold filtered and then gently carbonated before bottling. No preservatives are used and the lagers are not pasteurised.
To celebrate the completion of their new brewery in 2013 Calvors decided to add two ales 'Smooth Hoperator' and 'LodeStar Festival Ale' to their range.
